Yoo-Soo says he will help me in Busan
Meet Tae-Gun (이태근: Lee Tae-Gun), go to ferry terminal to check in
Tae-Gun is too busy to stay
Yoo-Soo and I have lunch together

Day 33: 2005-08-28 (Sunday)
Church at Odai – play snare drum in service; first drummer ever in that church
Lunch and chatting with pastor
Play two songs together, as Japanese friends sing along
Guided tour of Odai and surrounding area, including Miya Dam

Day 34: 2005-08-29 (Monday)
0200hrs: massive scatological event #13 at Odai; a Japanese experience I will remember for a long time!

Travel to Fuji 0700 with Tsuyako

Late lunch at restaurant
On the bike to go shopping
Can’t see Fuji-san – too much cloud; but can see the shape very faintly

Traditional Japanese breakfast (grilled fish)
Tsyuoko makes sandwiches for my travelling to Machida
Trains to Machida, catch a fleeting glimpse of Fuji-san from the train
Meet Sarah; taxi to apartment
Sarah organises my bus to Narita, then goes to work; I do internet & e-mail
1,700 steps to station; trains to Shinjuku/Tokyo/Subiya and return
Meet Paul 1800… dinner, walk home and straight to bed
Day 36: 2005-08-31 (Wednesday)
0450 wake up – toast for breakfast, then with Paul to the bus stop
bus to Narita Airport; depart Narita 1100
Flight SQ997 Narita to Singapore (5,361km); depart 1131, takeoff 1151
Meet Tanaka en route to Malaysia for seminars
Arrive Singapore. Good shadow photo of the aircraft coming into land
4 hours in Singapore
Only got $2.75 – can’t buy any food! Change $AUD5 to $SIN
Burger King – my first burger for over a month!

Fly right over Acacia Ridge - there’s Mum’s house!
